During the SAP WM roll-out at the Pick n Pay warehouses, gaps were identified in Master Data Management. This feedback was given to Pick n Pay management as part of the Britehouse Specialist SAP Division “Lessons Learnt” approach to review each project after implementation.
Pick n Pay commissioned Britehouse Specialist SAP Division to develop a series of ABAP programmes to confirm, identify and highlight any Supply Chain Master Data inconsistencies.
The Britehouse Specialist SAP Division ABAPs identified and confirmed the inconsistencies and Pick n Pay agreed to introduce a Master Data Management Department, supported by Pick n Pay trained staff.
