SAP SD Consultant

Graeme Roberts has worked at Britehouse SSD as an SAP SD Consultant for 4 years.

What do you enjoy most about working for Britehouse SSD? I like the diversity the company offers by learning and gaining knowledge about new industries by working at different clients and companies.

If you were discussing our organisation with a potential employee/customer, how would you best describe it in three words? Professional, Passionate, Fun.

What motivates you in life: The sense of satisfaction after successfully completing a challenge whether it is a work project or achieving a personal goal.

Do you have a nickname? Gforce.

Who inspires you? My Grandfather - aside from winning numerous awards one of which was the Star of Africa, his ability for identifying business opportunities combined with his commitment to making those opportunities successful made him a formidable businessman. On top of this he always made time for his friends and family and especially in showing his Grand children the ways of the world and giving sound advice.

Three adjectives that describe you? Ambitious, focused and easy going.

If you could give your 18 year old self one piece of advice, what would it be? Don’t take life too seriously but work hard and play hard.

What occupation did you aspire to as a child? I grew up on a farm and always enjoyed helping fix tractors and motorbikes and all things mechanical so growing up I always wanted to be an engineer and build engines.

Who would you love to see live in concert? James

How do you spend your time outside of work? Socializing with friends or participating in outdoor activities such as mountain biking and running.

If given a choice to skip work for a day, how would you spend it? I would spend it going on a hot air balloon ride in the Magaliesburg.

What was your favourite T.V show growing up? I never missed an episode of MacGyver.

What is your favourite movie of all time? Why? Braveheart. The manner in which William Wallace shows determination, passion and courage to never give up fighting for his country’s freedom gives me great inspiration to never give up.

If someone wrote a book about your life, what would they title it? Graeme Roberts - The Man. The Legend.

What would we find on your bedside table? My iPod, Papillon autobiography and probably a glass of water.

If you could have a luncheon with any three people (dead/alive/ real/fictitious) which three people would you choose and why? Nelson Mandela, he has great compassion and patience and is a great inspiration to us all and I would love to have the opportunity to be in his presence for even a half hour, Bono, he is one of my music hero’s and Leonardo Da Vinci, the conversation about his inventions would be awesome.

If you were stranded on a desert island, what are the 5 things you would choose to take with you? I’m a practical person so I guess I will take water, a knife, rum, rope and Jessica Alba!
